The weekend has passed (too quickly as usual). I hope everyone’s weekend was good! On Sunday we went to my cousins wedding in New Jersey and ate a lot. mmm cocktail hour was full of yummy foods :) Weddings are always fun. I caught the bouquet by the way … hmm … and MF caught the garter thingy … hmm … I think it was all a set up, what do you think that means? Anyways, it was all in good fun!

I also was able to work on some websites. One was just updating and one was totally new and will be up soon. I’ll post here when it’s all finished and up.

Didn’t you think my old banner seemed a bit heavy? Well, I made some little changes that you can see and some big ones that you can’t. With the new banner, it feels lighter now. I also removed/lightened the borders, feels less confined. For those using WordPress, there is a new version to download with better and easier back end functionalities. If you see weird things going on (hopefully not) I’m upgrading :)

It’s 2am here and I just finished changing the layout of this blog. I have this need to constantly change things around. I was at it again, and I just realized that I only had the previous layout for only about two months.

I also think that it’s time I stop talking about myself and really share the wonderful things that I love and find in this amazingly massive world we live in. So stay tuned for some more changes around here.

After searching & searching for places to advertise Jengs Shop, I decided to sell some ad space here on my blog through Project Wonderful as well. It’s really easy and Extremely affordable. You can be selective on the kinds of ads that show. I recommend it to anyone who has a blog with some extra space to try out. That’s what I’m doing. If it turns out to be a horrible thing to have here then I will remove it immediately. So right now, I’ll see how it goes.

So finally the “Shop” is finished. I am so totally excited. It only took me an entire day and a half, but it’s finished. Yay me! I hope it all works. If anyone finds anything wrong with it let me know. It’s a really simple layout using paypal shopping cart. Please tell me what you think of it.

So being on the computer yesterday ALL DAY working with html this is now what I’m seeing. Crazy. I was on it literally all day. I was working on jengsshop.com, trying to create the shopping pages. I’m not even using my own shopping cart, only using paypal. It’s so easy, but yet I’m still making stupid mistakes, having to correct them, and just not being able to decide one way or the other on doing something.

The problem here is that I really didn’t have a plan. I just went at it. I guess that’s how it usually goes here. But in the end, everything turns out ok … eventually. I’ll be doing the same today. No new designs will be created or worked on because this website really should be complete.

Since I already went ahead and changed the look of my website for the new year (oh, I’m still working on a little mechanics for that one & still not really finished, oh well), I had to do something to my blog. So instead of giving it a make over I made it gain a little weight :) There is now an extra column for, i don’t know, what ever I like. I was actually thinking of trying AdSense. I don’t know yet. Does anyone use it on their site? Does it work?

Anyways, I was busy filling some orders to rush out Monday morning but then after I finished them all, MF reminded me that tomorrow’s a holiday. Well you know what? Those of you who don’t have to go to work tomorrow, I am envious. I completely forgot. So that means, the post office will be closed and me … I will be going to work :(

Hello 2008. I spent the first half of the very first day of the new year sitting in front of the computer. I figured it was time…again…It’s a new year for new beginnings. I gave my website jengsshop.com a makeover, yes another makeover. No new functionality…yet…just a new look. Here’s a looksee.

Oh, and there’s only 3 more days left to the SALE. All cards are 20% off in my etsy shop.

The sun peeked through and I was able to get some shots of these new colored mini notebooks. They come in black, orange and blue. So what’s an umbel?

They will be in the shop today.

I finally finished up my new website, jengsshop.com. It’s sort of like a welcome page, with links to my shop and blog.

Oh and I almost forgot. I’ll be in the December Market at Poppytalk Handmade. Here’s a link to my table. It’ll be up from December 10th - January 4th. It’ll be great. I’ll be amongst some really great artists and it’s a good way to get some exposure. So look for me there!!
