Jengs Shop is a small paper goods design studio based in New York with a focus on simple + fun creations. All designs and goodies are hand crafted by me, artist and owner, Jennifer Eng.
I love to design, create and make all sorts of functional (sometimes not so functional) and practical (sometimes not so practical) paper goodies - from illustrations/photography prints to handcrafted paper goods.
My designs and creations originate from my photography, me drawing and doodling all the time, the constant need of a prettier notebook and just admiring the wonderful and simple things in life. I’m crazy about all things in nature; colors, shapes, texture and patterns. I also take a lot…A Lot…of photos when I’m out and about (my camera is with me almost every where I go) and I always try to incorporate the captured beauty within them.
Everything is created in house (from beginning to end) and I do hope you’ll enjoy the goodies at Jengs Shop as much as I enjoyed creating them.

b-day: 2-22-78 … life has only just begun
sign: pisces. the fisheys that swim in a circle because they never really know which way to go, what to do and what they really want.
hair color: very very dark brown that I would say black, but technically no one really has black hair…so they say.
home: queens, new york. I wouldn’t think of living anywhere else.
favorite color: navy/dark blue, sometimes brown, sometimes grey
favorite book: Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky (a must read), everything by Jane Austen
favorite artist: too many to choose from with too little time
where i get my $$$ regularly: assistant manager for a nationwide retail art store (yuk!!!) (no, it’s really not that bad)
what i do for me (and sometimes $$$): web/graphic design, draw, paint, bind books and take a !@#$ load of pictures
schools: parsons school of design (major: illustration) and graduated from queens college (major: computer science) eeew!!
