Hey friends. I’ve got some great news … new designs are in the works. Aren’t you ready for something fresh and fun for the summer? I know I am! The above image is a little something from the new work. I’ve been working more with drawing and painting as a medium with this set. I’d love to know what you think …

My weekly feature “my weekend” will no longer be a weekly feature. I’ve come to realize that I can’t force myself to post on a schedule here. I find that it’s a little overwhelming when life takes over. I’m really not a scheduled blogger kind of gal, I’ve tried very hard to be but the truth is out :) Anyway, life goes on and I know what needs to be done!

I hope everyone had a great Easter (if you celebrated). It’s been beautiful here in NYC. There’s been lots and lots of sun (maybe that’s why I’ve been mia – it’s nice to step away from the computer and the internet once in a while).

I’m so happy to announce that the new Jengs Shop website is up and live, brand new with it’s own shopping cart … thanks to the big cartel. I highly recommend this one!! It’s so so easy to upload products and the look of the whole cart is simple and clean.

Hello! Just popping in here to say hi and that I don’t mean to leave you hanging. I’ve been trying to come up with new ideas and make a few changes here and there. Including an actual blog schedule.

One major thing I’ve been contemplating is where to have the virtual shop. Should it be Etsy (I’ve had it there for the last 2 1/2 years – almost, and where they take a % of every sale) or have my own shop through big cartel (and pay a fee – cheapest one is $9.99 a month)? Or should it be on both? Anyone have any suggestions? I think I am leaning towards both. What do you think?

psst … the idea of moving my designs onto fabric has become something of a reality now here in the shop. Please keep your eyes out for some new goodies for the fall/winter season. There will be some sneak peeks here and there.
