The blanket I use as a rug (above) is my favorite and was only $20. I think we got it upstate. The weekend was filled with walking around in the city, family dinner, laughter and of course relaxing. We need to figure out what the next steps we need to take in order to live like the weekend all the time!!

I had fun this weekend. We went for a long bike ride downtown along the west side highway to Pier 40, met some friends and went kayaking. We played tag in the water. Raced to catch each other in our kayaks. I didn’t bring my camera because I knew I was going to get wet. It was a fun filled weekend – late night walks, and lazy rainy lounging. I’m about ready for the new week, are you? What fun things did you do this past weekend?

I spent a few days quietly at home, a bit rainy and a bit sunny. Found a new Chinese restaurant, Columbia Cottage, the food was pretty good but definitely way more pricier then Chinatown (forgot my camera so no photos). Besides eating, watching movies and trying to figure out my life, I was able to do some drawing and went through some old magazines before recycling them. Cut out some color swatches to have around. Beginning to find inspiration once again.

I’m afraid it’s been an extremely long time since I’ve been on here. I’m horrible at keeping up with things. I hope you are enjoying life and this wonderful summer so far. We just got back from camping upstate in the Catskills. I love it there. We ended up being the only ones at the camp ground because it was during the week before the holiday weekend. It was awesome! Besides that, life has been busy. I’ve been working on a website for my friend and her colleagues, so that took up much of my time. It was a little intense but it’s coming along and I just have two main features left to work on until completion.

Have you had time to follow all the people you’re interested in? Well, if you’re that interesting person, have you had time to keep up with all the different social networks that are out there? It seems like it’s never ending. There’s always something else or something new and better. I had to take a step back, try to understand what kind of person I am with socializing on the internet and realize what I really had time for.

So to keep it simple, I’ve created a tumblr called stuffeng. I’m more of a visual person, I need more then 140 characters. I also can’t stand linking to an image. It’s been forever since I’ve posted on here. I’m just in a place where I really don’t have much to share. It’s weird when I write now, sometimes I don’t know why. Before I continue on this road I need to know why. Why? Why? Why? I haven’t created anything. I’ve just been busy making our new apartment nice, homey, cooking and of course working full time. I feel like a whiner because this is nothing to some people or maybe you just don’t hear the whining because it’s always done behind closed doors. This is definitely not behind closed doors. I’m actually whining for all to see. Poor Jenn. No time. No fun. Haha. This actually cracks me up after putting it out there. I was going to delete some but I won’t. Just so … if you feel like whining … you’ve got a place here :) smiling again!! Thanks blog, my unbiased friend.

Hello there! So so glad it’s Friday :) I can’t believe it’s been two weeks since I’ve been on here. We’re all moved in to our new apartment and somethings are still in boxes. It’s been an extremely tiresome two weeks, with the anxiety of moving and getting the apt ready and then the actual moving and settling in. Everything feels a little more normal now and I’m finally able to start getting back on track and following my schedule.

Well well well … I’ve got to get back to working on new product production!! Still need my work table put together though …

So much and so little has happened since I’ve been on here. I never wanted to be away for so long but until recently I’ve felt like my life has been on hold. Here’s the story … remember when I mentioned that I was moving? … well, it never happened! haha I had started packing (boxes filled half my living room) and we were suppose to meet the landlord but then he canceled so … we had to arrange another time and then the crazy snow had happened and the appliances never showed (so they said). Finally finally finally we got the keys late Saturday. phew – we almost started believing that it would never happen. Sunday came and went, we did a lot of patching and caulking every little hole (preventing yucky bugs from entering) – then it’ll be time for painting.

Because we are such perfectionists we are making this place almost perfect because it is in no way as solid as our current place … a trade off – it’s larger and we will be in a much better and convenient location. So so so exciting!! Can’t wait to be in there already!
