finds: royal buffet

For all you mobile lovers, check out Royal Buffet by Mollie Greene. There you can get beautifully designed mobile pieces and best of all they’re all made out of paper. You can find other paper products there as well but the mobiles are absolutely amazing.

finds: earmark

Saturday, June 7, 2008 No Comments

I was happy to wake up yesterday to find this at my doorstep. A little package from Earmark. I ordered it a few weeks ago and it finally arrived along with a few little cards and a great looking business card.

They have a whole set of these magnets and matching cards with quotes from influential figures like Mark Twain (that’s the one I got). I guess I needed a little reminder everyday to just go and do. You can see them all in their shop.

I snagged me a treasury on Etsy this fine morning. It’s been a while since my last one so if you have time check these guys out. The list will only be up for three days.

I hope everyone is happy that it’s Friday and looking forward to a fabulous weekend. I know I am :)

finds: kristen swanson

It’s almost like I’m crazy about peonies these past few days. I promise this is the last of the peonies. The two gorgeous porcelain pottery pieces are from Kristen Swanson. Aren’t they awesome. The black and white make them so classy and sleek. Kristen sells her work here and also has a blog here if you want to learn more about her and her work.

finds: Julia Pott

Wednesday, April 9, 2008 No Comments

I’ve never put a YouTube video on here but here’s an animation I found via the Storque on Etsy called “My first crush”. It’s so very very good. I love her illustrations and the little stories behind them just melted my heart. You have to check it out for yourself. It was created by Julia Pott, an illustrator/animator in London. She’s also got some cool zines and prints in her shop.

aaw…remember your first crush?

finds: tea pots + mugs

Saturday, April 5, 2008 No Comments

These beautiful tea pots and mugs were all found on the wonderful site of all things handmade, Etsy. You can see in my previous post that I use boring white mugs. Boring! That’s right. I’m going to have to spice things up a bit soon. I love large mugs, they fit in your hands so perfectly and you get so much at one time.

finds: bag bag bags

Monday, March 24, 2008 No Comments

I’ve drifted away from my so called Monday finds. Since my daily life has left me so unreliable I can’t hold myself to doing a post specifically on Mondays. I don’t know when I’ll be posting my finds but hopefully I’ll be posting them more often (since I won’t be constricting myself to just that one specific day). I hope you will enjoy my finds.

I’m seriously a crazy bag lady. I’ve so many bags that I sometimes don’t really know what to do with them and yet I’m still always on the look out for some new ones. Silly me, I know I’m not the only one out there. So here’s a few I found perusing the wonderful site for all things handmade, Etsy.

monday finds

Here’s the second one :)

esdesigns

I’m a simple gal who rarely wears jewelry so when I came across these lovelies, by Elizabeth Scott aka esdesigns, I fell in love. Her work is so beautiful and yet simple, which is perfect for me. It’s amazing how some can make metal seem so so delicate. You can see all Elizabeth’s wonderful creations in here etsy shop along with her blog.

monday finds

Monday, February 18, 2008 No Comments

Since today’s a holiday (Presidents Day), I’ve got two monday finds for ya. So get ready, Here’s the first one.

a punkin card company

A Punkin Card Company is an etsyPaper member, along with myself and along with many many other talented paper artists. I just had to feature her work today because of the argyle pattern Amie Needham (the woman behind it all) uses. I’m wearing a pair of socks with almost the exact same pattern (like the one on the top left) and I thought it was really funny. Anyways, her work is whimsical and super fun. A mixture of pattern, stamps and a touch of that antique look makes them all that special. Be sure to visit her shop for more paper goodness and oh, she also has a blog.
