I drew this while sitting at Wholefoods on Columbus on the Upper West Side today. BB read while I doodled and people watched.

Here’s a silly little doodle of our cat Tabatha

and also our kitchen/living space

I really should try to doodle more often.

Been mia again here on this good ol’ blog. Life and all the good & bad things that come along with it just consumed me. It swallowed me whole and finely regurgitated me back into somewhat of a routine. I hope everyone had a glorious 4th and is surviving this sweltering heat wave (haha aka summer) … sometimes I can see the craziness in some peoples eyes when the day is at its hottest.

So back to my unusual Wednesday post … I am including a photographer (the first here) and her name is Amy Amanda Braughler. Definitely check out her work here. She’s been working on a 365 day project, taking a photo every single day – even when she isn’t in the mood … even when she doesn’t have time … she still makes it happen.

These are just two from an entire collection of wonderfully captured moments.

mia pearlman

Aren’t these just absolutely gorgeous? I just love cut paper – and the detail of Mia Pearlman‘s work is so dimensionally dramatic. A bit eerie don’t you think?

I love embroidery work and he mixes it all up – painting, drawing, and sewing!

Great pieces by Dan Funderburgh – a Brooklyn designer and artist. His work is extremely decorative and I love the polygon pieces. They can be little works on their own.
