It was a busy and relaxing weekend all at the same time. We hung around in the neighborhood and at home for the most part. I spent as much time as I could working on shop stuff … something new and exciting! I’ll let you know when it’s ready. This is the first post of a weekend series I want to begin – just to recap our happenings.
BB made us a great spaghetti and meatball dinner last night. He’s a really great cook. I’m so lucky!
I put together these two arrangements with the beautiful shrubs BB picked for me from the road side in New Jersey last week. I love you BB!
While the laundry was drying today we walked around and saw these two men fumbling with something on the corner of 135th st. They were trying to help a pigeon, it had a string wrapped and knotted all around it’s foot. When they got it untangled the pigeon hopped away. I bet he was happy that the string was finally off and for those nice men to help.
We had a glimpse of a pretty pink sky.
Life is beautiful! We must try to enjoy every moment of it!

I can’t believe a week has gone by already, where does the time go? It’s Friday now and the weekend is ahead of us once again. I don’t have much planned but to get some r&r and of course to catch up on things.

Still trying to catch up and getting organized with this here blog. I feel like I’m always saying that. To tell you the truth, it never really gets easier when your balancing life, along with a full time job and the efforts you put in to the beginnings of your dream job.
Lately, I’ve been busy working on a mixture of stuff, revamping old designs and creating new ones. I haven’t yet decided when I will be introducing them to the world. It is still a little too soon right now, even though I haven’t really put anything new out this entire year. I know shame on me!! Really, I know! So I keep telling myself, great things have to be thoroughly thought out and time is needed to perfect the details.

I hope everyone had a great week and is looking forward to an amazing weekend. I know it looks like rain here in the city, but hey, I’ve been a little sick all week, finally lost my voice and I’m still excited. Can’t wait! As usual, so much to do with such little time.

It’s been a while (again!) since I’ve been on here but I’m back and getting into the groove of things. Actually trying to work out a decent schedule for the blog and for my work/production. I’m so excited it’s Friday, I have the whole day to myself and the weekend is just around the corner.
Loving this weather right now. It’s getting a bit chilly around here. Sweaters, hoodies, and cups of hot coffee in the brisk mornings. Loving it!
After really thinking about it, I don’t own much leather except for two items; my Lucky Brand bag and my Camper boots. The weather is getting cooler so I’ve been looking around for some new winter boots. You’ve got to be ready for the worse. I’m looking for some simple leather boots that I can wear in the snow,rain and everyday. Above are some leather goodies that caught my eye.
