computer crash

My computer crashed last night. I was so mad, in the middle of a website updating assignment the monitor went black. A little screen popped up and just said “No Signal”. It was weird because my computer was still running. So after trying to boot it off the Windows cd, I realized that I had to reformat the whole thing. It may have been a virus or maybe it’s just a PC? :( So, PCs are known to have all these problems but in my experience (I have used PCs my whole life) I haven’t had any real problems. Thank god I was able to upload everything I had to because now I can’t even get into my computer. I have everything, I mean everything on it. I also have them on a second hard drive as well as CDs and DVDs. That is why everyone should ALWAYS backup their files. ALWAYS. By doing so, it has saved my ass about two times now. I rely so much on my brother with this computer stuff. His job is to take out my hard drive and put it in MF’s computer so that I can retrieve my files and such. So after I can reformat everything, reinstall Windows, and start fresh. I also have to reinstall ALL the programs and drivers I need to do work with. That’s going to be a couple of waisted hours.

So for now, it’s back to basics. (pen and paper) Why do we rely so much on technology? When it fails, we are crippled.
